LG Dare Features

We wouldn’t Dare try to list all the features of this brand new LG phone… we’d be typing for hours and hours. Instead, we’ve compiled an overview of the LG Dare’s highlights. To give you a frame of reference, many would consider the LG Dare a slimmer version of the LG Voyager… with a better touchscreen, more features and without the clamshell keyboard.

Touchscreen with Stylus

The LG Dare features a beautiful, large touchscreen with vibrant technology. LG has really upped the ante by making an incredibly responsive touchscreen that consumers will enjoy using. But, fingers can only do so much. For that reason, the Dare comes packed with a stylus when you require more precise input methods. For example, you can doodle on pictures and the LG Dare has handwriting recognition as well.

3G Speeds and the Web

If you buy the LG Dare, chances are you’re more of an active phone user who wants to be able to do more. Included in that “more” is browsing the web, reading your e-mail, watching videos and whole bunch of other stuff that most current phones either can’t do or do… very… slowly.

The LG Dare is on the cutting edge, touting 3G speeds that will have your content loading quicker than ever before! Mobile browsing has never been more convenient.

Amazing Digital Camera

The fact that the Dare packs a 3.2 Megapixel Digital Camera compared to the 2.0 MP most phones (like the iPhone) have is just a small part of the puzzle. The camera on the LG Dare is produced by Schneider Kreuznach.

Who or what is Schneider Kreuznach? They are one of the most respected names in the optical industry and have been for nearly a century. By 1932 the company had produced over 1,000,000 high quality lenses. By the year 2,000 that number reached over 14,000,000 and in the year 2001 the company actually won an Oscar (yep, the movie award) for technical achievement in motion picture lenses. That should explain the quality level of the camera, but what about its features?

The camera has three main ingredients of an awesome camera - zoom, auto-focus and flash. It takes the guesswork out of lighting by automatically adapting to low light levels. Throw in photo editing tools and the ability to draw/doodle on pictures and upload them directly to social networking sites and you can kiss your traditional digital camera goodbye. The LG Dare IS your digital camera and MORE!

Multimedia Monster

In addition to pictures, the LG Dare does music and videos very, very well. You can listen to MP3 and AAC format music and audio it also offers VGA video playback for files stored on the phone and/or streamed online. Speaking of storing videos, music files and pictures on your phone, you’ll be happy to know that a MicroSDHC slot provides a 8GB of additional storage. Toss that iPod out the window… along with your digital camera… because as we explained earlier, this phone Dares to Do it All!

You can connect your phone directly to your computer through your USB port, making charging your phone and moving files from one to the other a breeze!

What else?

It’s got GPS which, combined with VZNavigator can give you turn by turn directions anywhere! Of course its Bluetooth enabled, you can send/receive text messages, read/send emails… if you can think it up, the LG Dare can probably do it.
