The strict critics at CNET gave the LG Dare an “Excellent” rating coming in on the 10 point scale with an 8.3! They say the positives of this phone include, “an intuitive touch-screen interface, an advanced 3.2-megapixel camera, a full HTML browser, EV-DO Rev. A, and plenty of other powerful features. It’s got a ton of features that help differentiate it from the iPhone, from tactile feedback to handwriting recognition, and is an obvious attempt to seperate itself from the competition by loading up on features. While the folks at InfoSync think the hardware of the Dare is gorgeous and it includes a host of Killer Features that has the oppotunity to set it apart, they claim the touch screen is lacking in responsiveness and this, for them, was a major flaw in the phone’s usability. Read the entire review.
